Leading engineering services company Zinfra, is pleased to release Sustainability 2025: A Year in Review – the SGSPAA Group’s (comprised of Jemena and Zinfra) voluntary disclosures review for the 2025 calendar year.
The review highlights the efforts of nearly 4,000 employees working on some of Australia’s most important energy assets and projects.
Major achievements throughout CY2025 include:
a 23.5 per cent reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions compared to a FY2021–22 baseline,
the Group maintaining a Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate of 2.7, consistent with the previous year,
a 3 per cent increase in employee engagement as captured in the annual People Survey,
the introduction of Universal Reproductive Health Leave, reflecting the Group’s broader commitment to inclusion and wellbeing.
The Group delivered more than $896,000 in community investment throughout 2025, including support for vulnerable customers, First Nations organisations, and grassroots organisations. Since 2019, it has invested more than $4.55 million in community organisations.
Sustainability 2025: Year in Review is part of our Group’s commitment to reporting transparently on progress against our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) objectives, as well as the contributions made in the areas the Group operates.
This report follows the release of SGSPAA’s inaugural Financial Sustainability Report in March, which detailed how our Group is managing the economic and physical risks associated with climate change.
